Rosalyn White Franklin, 64, of Tampa, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2026. She has lived in Tampa most of her life, being born at Tampa General Hospital on January 2, 1962 where she worked as a commercial real estate appraiser and residential real estate agent. Rosalyn loved God and was firm in her faith. She came from a large and loving family and was very devoted to her parents, aunts and uncles, siblings and family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Rosalyn graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1984. She married the love of her life in 1988, Kevin Aubrey Franklin. She loved to spend time with family, friends and travel. She was an active snow skier, golfer, bicyclist and loved to hike in the National Parks.
She is survived by her daughter, Natalie Caroline Franklin, sons, Kevin Aubrey Franklin II and Jonathon Bradley Franklin (Mae); one grandchild Bradley Camacho Franklin; sister, Marie Folsom (Danny); brothers William White, Jack White, Carter White and Phillip White (Barbara); and many loving nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation at 11am on Sunday, March 22nd, with the funeral service to follow at 12pm officiated by Father Stadal at Blount & Curry, 605 S. MacDill Ave. The burial will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery at 2pm. At 3 pm we will hold a Celebration of Life at Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club. Pallbearers include Jonathon Franklin, Kevin Franklin II, Kenneth Franklin, Brian Franklin, Eric Castillo, Lee Pitisci, Ben Flowers, OJ Perryman and honorary pallbearers Bill Place and Mark Bronner. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either Metropolitan Ministries or Dogs, Inc., guide dogs for Veterans.
The family would like to thank Drs. Sajeel Chowdhary and Yarema Bezchlibnyk, APRN’s Erica Elder and Samantha Roberts and Medical Technician Odalys, along with the nurses at Tampa General Hospital in Neuro ICU, Emergency Room and the 9th floor Neuro unit for their loving care and dedication to the care of my wife.
