86, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2018 in Tallahassee, Florida. Born Rose Marie Minahan, August 17, 1931 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania; she moved to Tampa, Florida with her husband Ernie Oravetz in 1956.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years and her daughter, Kathy. She is survived by her sons, Randy (Linda), Patrick, Mark, and Jon; daughters, Jeanette and Ann Marie; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Rose Marie was a long time member of Christ the King Catholic Church and of the Tampa Garden Club, Calliandra Circle. She loved gardens and flowers and spent many hours tending hers and those of others. She was a sports enthusiast and could be heard cheering for her favorite teams. She was a beautiful, caring person who gave so much love and attention to others. She leaves us with wonderful memories.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and kind words. In lieu of flowers, please remember Rose Marie by enjoying the flowers and plants near your home.
