Sandra “Sandi” Baldwin loved life and lived it to the fullest. Born on Christmas Day in Jacksonville, Illinois, she grew up surrounded by a large, loving family of Baldwin and Werries relatives.
In 1969, her family moved to Orlando, Florida, where she would spend many happy years working at Disney and making lifelong friends, including her best friend, Kristin Davis. She then retired to Leesburg, Florida.
Although she struggled with Crohn’s Disease all of her adult life, she never let it get her down. She loved to travel and visited many exotic places, always looking for souvenirs in chartreuse, her favorite color, which also dominated her wardrobe.
Sandi died peacefully after celebrating Easter with family in Tampa, Florida. She is survived by a sister, Patricia Baldwin Pieri, and niece, Nina Pieri.
She has joined her parents, Raymond and Nina (Rodgers) Baldwin, in heaven along with her beloved grandparents, Jesse and Ethyl Baldwin, and her favorite aunt and uncle, Leona (“Midgie”) and Don Werries.
She is at peace after a life well lived.
