SSGT Shane Leon Menke, USAF, 30, former resident of Oldsmar, passed away in Panama City, FL on December 1, 2015 while on active duty. Shane is survived by his loving family; Father, MSGT Bruce E. Menke, Ret. and his Wife Elsa, Mother, Karoline Bradshaw and his Stepfather Ron Bradshaw, Brother, TSGT Alex E. Menke, his Wife Stephanie & Shane’s niece Sophie. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, CMSGT Clarence E. Menke and Dorothy M. Menke and his maternal grandparents, Leon Suszynski and Elfriede Suszynski. Shane attended East Lake High School and was a graduate of the class of 2003. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life service at 4pm on Sunday, December 13, 2015, at the Blount & Curry West Chapel, 6802 Silvermill Dr., Tampa. Inurnment will be held at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL at 1pm on Monday, December 14, 2015, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Shane’s memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
