Shannon Eileen Crerand

Shannon Eileen Crerand,47, of Westchase, Florida, passed away on December 19, 2023, after a courageous 5-year battle with cancer. Shannon chose early to keep her journey with cancer private and those of us who loved and cared for her did our best to honor her request.

Shannon was born on April 4, 1976, to Greg and Eileen Harold in Oradell, New Jersey. After graduating from River Dell Regional High School in 1994, she went on to earn her bachelor's degree at the University of Connecticut. Shannon married her soulmate, Kevin Crerand in 2006, and they went on to have three incredible children, Mackenzie, Logan, and Brennan.

When Shannon had her first child, Mackenzie, she decided to dedicate her life to being a fantastic and wonderful mother. Shannon was a passionate supporter of all academic and athletic events that her children, Mackenzie, Logan, and Brennan participated in and any other endeavors that they took on.

Shannon was predeceased by her father, Greg Harold, and her father-in-law, Jay Bengtson. She is survived by her husband, Kevin; her children, Mackenzie, Logan, and Brennan; her mother, Eileen Gonzalez (Don); her brothers; Greg (Melanie), and Sean (Sara); her grandmother, Marie Lavender; her mother-in-law, Dee Geurts-Bengtson; her brothers-in-law, Phil and Bert Bengtson. She is also survived by many friends throughout the country and was a well-loved member of her children’s schools, sporting and Mandolin Estates communities.

A celebration of Shannon’s life will be held at a later date.
