My heart-felt condolences and God's Blessings to Shirley's daughters and family. 
I met Shirley only once in my life, in 1966. I was 10 years old and Shirley and her husband Nathan came for a visit,  My mother, Frances Gatti Hatch, was Nathan's Aunt, which made Shirley and Nathan my cousins.  During the visit, Shirley broke-out her electric guitar and Nathan his banjo, and a music fest began. I had taken guitar lessons for one year and was struggling. But watching Shirley play and sing gave me the inspiration to continue studying music. And her inspiration served me well for my entire live. My mother made an audio tape of the session, which I shared with Shirley via email about 14 years ago. She remembered that day and was thrilled to hear the recording of she and Nathan some 40 years before. 
Although most of my interactions with Shirley were by social media and email, she influenced my life in a very important way.
At these trying times I recall my father's favorite psalm: 
"Beyond the sunset's radiant glow this is a brighter world, I know. Beyond the sunset I may spend delightful days that never end."

Even though we never met in person, I sense thru Pastor tikvah and family what a legacy she leaves, along the way of her journey I sent her many cards through the church of love, healing and encouragement ❤️ she'll be deeply missed

I HEARD SO MUCH ABOUT  SHIRLEY;  I IDENTIFIED WITH HER.  SHE WAS ITALIAN; ALSO BORN IN 1935 AND FIERCELY LOVED HER CHILDREN AND RAISED THEM TO LOVE THE LORD!  MY HOPE IS THAT I COULD LEAVE A LEGACY LIKE SHIRLEY...A TRUE WOMAN OF GOD.

Oh Aunt Shirley you were  an amazing women always …..thank you for your words of encouragement in my life ,,,,,,, your the sweetest soul I have ever met,,,,, Even though we didn’t get to share our everyday life together I always new you were a phone call away ,,,,,,your belief  in the Lord was so beautiful …. I admired you very much ,,,,,,,, When ever I hear your name a smile will come to my face and a hug to my heart,,,,,, Till be meet again Forever you niece Patricia and my Michael

Sweet Shirley,

Of course you will be missed!  You were as Sweet & Beautiful as my own Mom.  I hope you are flying high with all the Angels, as you were one of them even when you were here on earth!  RIP

My deepest condolences to Shirley's family. She was loved by many, and I am so glad I got to know her and see her beautiful smile. I was so blown away by the love Shirley and her family had for each other. Every single day she had family over, I still touched by that and by all the love they have!
Shirley is resting peacefully in Heaven and will forever be missed.

She was one of a kind, irreplaceable.  She would want everyone to remember her for her faith in Jesus and love for all.    She always found a way to find the good in people and keep a smile on her face.   I am blessed to call her mom.

Just wanted to share and give honor where honor is due and that is to my mom. She will be so missed because she gave so much. She was the best mom a daughter could ever ask for.  She was such an example to me of how to be a good wife, she loved my dad dearly, and a nurturing, loving mother. She was always there for us girls, especially in the important times, when she was needed the most. She definitely was a mama bear. I learned a lot from her example, especially believing in God. Her faith was always there and she never faltered. She taught me right from wrong, to be honest, loving and kind. Because of her example, I wanted to grow up and be just like her and you know what I did! Love you mom and enjoyed every minute of caring for you this last year! It was an honor and a privilege!
