Shirley Ann Wentzel, 82, of Tampa, FL, passed away on 5/22/2024. She was born in Wayne County, IN on August 13, 1941. Shirley Ann Wilson graduated from Henry B. Plant High School in Tampa, FL and earned a Bachelor of Science from Butler University. She was married to William G. Wentzel on June 13, 1964. Shirley worked in Elementary Education in Riverview, FL and for the Huron Mountain Club in Big Bay, MI. Shirley was the Office Manager for New Beginnings Christian Church for 29 years. She was a member of Delta Gamma and had a passion for her church and the Lord, her family, friends, and supported several charities.
Shirley is survived by her daughter Amy. L Koenig, and her grandchildren, Ashleigh Ann Koenig and Ian Joseph Koenig.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00am with Visitation starting at 10:00am on June 29th 2024 at New Beginnings Christian Church, 4100 S Manhattan Ave Tampa FL 33611 . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to New Beginnings Christian Church or to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay.
