D' Amico, Mercedes Susana, 70 of Tampa passed away on Sept. 07, 2013. She is survived by sons, Jose and Miguel D' Amico; grandson Mathew D' Amico; two adopted sons, Victor Quintero and Mathew Hahn; and pet kitty, Shakira. She was preceded in death by husband Domenico D' Amico. Mercedes was born in Cordoba, Argentina Sept. 20, 1942. Married Domenico, had their two sons, Jose and Miguel and immigrated from Argentina in 1967 to Boston. She has been a Tampa resident since 1980. Mercedes was the Leto High school Cafeteria Manager for 25 yrs.; she enjoyed cooking, gardening, solving puzzles, sewing, and planning family trips and gatherings. She was a wonderful person selflessly giving to others and charities. Visitation will be Wed. Sept. 11 from 6pm to 9pm at Gonzalez Funeral Home.
