Sylvia Jean Loomis, 77, died peacefully surrounded by her family on September 12, 2019. Sylvia was born on January 4, 1942 and had a very full life. Sylvia was born and raised in Tampa, FL. and graduated from H.B. Plant High School in 1960. She had a fulfilling work career at MetLife from which she retired from.
Sylvia was always active in her life. She was a former member of the Tampa Woman’s Club, an avid follower of Weight Watchers. She enjoyed jazzercise, the performing arts and had a passion for cooking.
Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren.
Sylvia is survived by two daughters; Leia Bubble and her child Amanda Bubble and great granddaughter Isabella Arista; daughter Margaret Smith and her husband Lance Smith and their children Travis Smith and Shelby Smith. Sylvia is pre-deceased by Leia Bubble’s husband Rodney Bubble.
A Celebration Of Life service will be held on Thursday September 26, 2019 7pm at the Tampa Woman’s Club, 2901 Bayshore Blvd. Tampa, FL 33629.
