From the streets of Puerto Rico, through the streets of Mapes, you have taken care of all of us. With your kind hands and words. You gave us all, without any riches. I left early in life, made a career in the United states Army with your love & support always by my side. Without fail, I called you every Sunday. You were and will always be my rock.
Thank you for giving me life. I will always make you proud. Thank you. You have given me the opportunity to have a wonderful family, Three beautiful daughters, three granddaughters, and another Silvia as my wife, along with another Krystal, Jenna, & JP Jr..
Now you join our father in heaven, at peace, no pain. You are happy again...say hi to papi for me.

Farewell Dear Mother
By an Unknown Author

Somewhere in my heart beneath all my grief and pain,
Is a smile I still wear at the sound of your dear name.
The precious word is ‘MOTHER’, she was my world you see,
But now my heart is breaking cause she’s no longer here with me.
God chose her for His angel to watch me from above,
To guide me and advise me and know that I’m still loved.
The day she had to leave me when her life on earth was through,
God had better plans for her, for this, I surely knew.
When I think of her kind heart and all those loving years,
My memories surround me and I can’t hold back the tears.
She truly was my best friend, someone I could confide in,
She always had a tender touch and a warm and gentle grin.
I want to thank you Mother for teaching me so well,
And though the time has come that I must bid you this farewell.
I’ll remember all you’ve taught me and make you proud you’ll see.
Thank you my Dear Mother for all the love you showed me.
Although you’ve left this earth and now you’ve taken flight,
I know that you are here with me each morning, noon and night. Until we meet again. Love Linda

Aunt Sylvia (Titi Echo) was always smiling and had a wonderful laugh. My fondest memories are of our Sunday family dinners. We kids would be playing outside on the street. The Titis would be cooking in the kitchen. You would hear them joking and laughing and on occasion yelling at one of us if we got into trouble. She was not tall in stature but she had a big heart. I love you Titi and will miss you. God Bless you and your family. God keep them strong as we go through this trying time. Please know that we can’t be there in body but are there in heart and soul. Loss of Mother

Mothers are faithful companions and confidants even in the most difficult times. Mothers dedicate their lives to caring and providing for their children both physically and emotionally. They always seem to know how to help them to overcome problems and thrive in spite of them. A mother's love is irreplaceable, which makes losing her to death an incredibly painful experience. While sons and daughters of all ages carry within their hearts a dull and lasting ache where they once felt love and security, it is important they continue searching for the happiness their mother always desired for them.

We all love you mommy.
