Teddy Holton Salem

1939-2023

84, of Tampa, passed away on Sunday, September 3rd at St. Joseph’s Hospital. Born in Albemarle, NC. She attended Women’s College in Greensboro, NC and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She moved to Tampa in 1964, attended Christ the King Catholic Church, was a member of Weeders and Palma Ceia Country Club. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Teddy was an avid fan of UNC Tarheel basketball as well as the Buccaneers and Rays. She was fortunate to have her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren live near her. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Teddy is predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Albert M. Salem, Jr., her brother-in-law Robert Salem and her niece Susan Salem. She is survived by her son Albert McCall Salem, III (Karen); her daughters Anne Salem Hampton (Reale), Nancy Salem Jimenez (Chris), and Mary Salem Roberts (Chris); grandchildren: Sarah Clark (David), Hayley Felman (Jake), Alex Reinhart, John Hampton (Kinga), Rachel Hampton, Brittany Laina (Manuel), Alexia Stalpes, Devin Jimenez, Olivia Roberts, Holton Roberts, and Vivian Roberts; great grandchildren Evie and Violet Clark, Chandler Felman, Makaila and Mia Laina; brother-in-law Richard Salem (Jule); sister-in-law Mary Salem Thacker (Bill); nieces Lizzi Graham (Brendan); nephews Will Thacker (Tara) and Salem Thacker (Lauren).

A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 13th 2023, 10:00am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S. Dale Mabry Hwy., Tampa, FL 33609.
