Ty Galley, 52, of Tampa, Florida, entered into eternal rest on June 3, 2025. Ty was raised in Marrero, Louisiana, where he developed his lifelong love for the outdoors, baseball, and LSU. Ty graduated from John Curtis Christian School and Louisiana State University.
Ty’s greatest joy in life was being a dad. He was deeply proud of his children, Blake and Clara Galley, and never missed a chance to tell others about their accomplishments. Ty was a constant and devoted presence in their lives—whether cheering from the sidelines, applauding at recitals, or simply chauffeuring them to practices, games, school events, and appointments. His love for them was evident in everything he did, and he cherished every moment spent by their side.
He is survived by his children, Blake and Clara Galley; mother, Sylvia Galley; sister, Wendy Wilson (Jason); nieces, Kendall and Olivia Nall; mother of his children, Robin Evans Galley and many extended family members and friends who will miss his humor, warmth, and steady presence. He was preceded in death by his father, Sam Galley; paternal grandparents, Claude and Margaret Galley; and maternal grandparents, Murphy and Mary Barre’.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Westtown Church (PCA), 13521 Race Track Road, Tampa FL 33626.
