Victor Allan June, 59, born in Honolulu Hawaii passed away peacefully on April 13, 2022 in Tampa, Florida in the loving company of his sister and nephew. Preceded in death by his parents Victor A. June and Mary C. June, both U.S. Army veterans, he is survived by an older sister, Linda June Folsom.
The family moved to Tampa, FL in 1964, where Victor would spend the rest of his life. Victor had a very devout and deep love for God, Jesus Christ and Scripture. Though he had a very challenging life, his faith in The Lord carried him through his time here. He loved his family and friends to no end. He was generous and giving to a fault and would give you the shirt off his back which he was known to do and on occasion this would create big family discussions! Victor had a strong love for music and taught himself to play guitar at which he was very proficient. He attended St. Patrick’s Catholic School, Madison Junior High and Robinson Senior High. Victor has a son Christopher and has two nephews, Aaron (Tracey- preceded) and Ryan (Angie). Four great nieces and nephews, Kara, Colin, Joseph and Summer as well as many extended family.
A reading from the Book of Wisdom (Wisdom 3:1-6, 9) The souls of the just are in the hands of God, and no torment shall touch them. They seemed, in the view of the foolish, to be dead; and their passing away was thought an affliction and their going forth from us, utter destruction. But they are in peace. For if before men, indeed they be punished, yet is their hope full of immortality; Chastised a little, they shall be greatly blessed, because God tried them and found them worthy of himself. As gold in the furnace, he proved them, and as sacrificial offerings he took them to himself. Those who trust in him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with him in love: Because grace and mercy are with his holy ones, and his care is with his elect.
The Word of the Lord
