

VISHNEFSKE, Victor, 73, of Tampa, FL (formerly of Salina, Kansas) passed away on November 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Vishnefske; and grandparents, Frank and Lottie Vishnefske, Martin and Katherine Johnson. Victor is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Lynn Williams and her partner Barbara Fellows of St. Petersburg, FL; mother, Dorothy Vishnefske of Edmond, OK; siblings, Shirley Loux of Edmond, OK, Jim Vishnefske and his wife Sally of Oxnard, CA; nephews, Jason Vishnefske of Oxnard, CA, Jeff Hamilton and his wife Sherry of Edmond, OK, and Jamey Loux and wife Katie of Purcell, OK, great-nieces and nephew, Kiki, Rachael, Skye and Sage and his former wife Carol Sinclair of St. Petersburg, FL. Born and raised in Kansas, he was a graduate of Salina Central High School, a veteran of the United States Army and enjoyed service in Germany and Hawaii as a helicopter mechanic, later a professional photographer, both a teacher and graduate of Kansas Weslyan University and was employed at Salina Supply Co. His life was a true adventure to include motorcross racing, spearfishing, parachuting, hunting, flying and had an avid appreciation for music and knowlege. Victor has been a Tampa Bay resident since 2010 and loved by those who met him, special thanks to his additional friends/family of Joe Windfield, his daughter Alisha Winfield and her children Chris and Kayla to whom he was “Grandpa Mr. Vic”. A graveside service will take place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Salina KS on what would have been his 74th Birthday, Saturday, December 3 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Veteran’s charities of your choice in Victor’s memory.
