Victoria Barreto was called home to God 02/08/16. She passed peacefully surrounded by family. Born in Guantanamo, Cuba she and her family came to America with the hopes of a better life in 1966. With great courage, strength, and perseverance, she guided her family towards the best expressions of themselves and all their attendant successes are directly due to her loving influence. She will be sorely missed. A funeral mass will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, 821 S. Dale Mabry Hwy Tampa, Thursday, February 11, 2016 at 10am. Interment will follow at Hillsboro Memorial Gardens in Brandon. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Art for Autism Foundation at 500 N. Willow Ave. #101 Tampa, Fl. 33606 or artforautism.org.
