Vivian, or Vimmie as many called her, brought so much love and kindness to those she met, affectionately calling everyone “darling” making each person feel like a cherished friend. Her gentle, sweet spirit was a gift to us all.
Vivian is survived by her children, Terry and Walter; grandchildren, Jenna, Noel, Graham, and Leigh; and daughter in-laws, Julia and Trish. She is preceded in death by her husband Terry and grandson Nathan.
Vivian was born in 1927 in New Orleans, LA to Walter H. Eigenbrod and Vivian Madel Eigenbrod. She attended Newcomb College and married Terry Tranchina Miller in 1949. She lived an adventurous life between New Orleans, Cuba, and Florida.
She will be remembered for her never ending wisdom, her piano playing, her friendliness, her delicious gumbo, her compassion, her extravagant jewelry, her sweet smile, her beautiful blue eyes, and her unconditional love. Her life was blessed by the love of treasured family, friends, and caregivers. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Forever our Vimmie darlin’.
