Walter "Walt" Anderson

Born on October 10, 1952 in Brooklyn, New York, Walt lived a life defined by love, kindness, hard work and dedication to his family. He touched the lives of everyone who knew him with his warm heart, generous spirit, and unwavering support.

Above all, Walt was a devoted husband and cherished the life he shared with his wife Denise. Together they built a family filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. He was a proud father to Michelle and a loving grandfather to Maddie and Aubrey.

Through the years Walt enjoyed golfing, fishing, and boating. He was a devoted employee who mentored many young people throughout the years.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Denise, his daughter Michelle (Ed), his grandchildren Maddie and Aubrey; sister-in-law Diane (Joe); niece Stacey; nephew Michael (Hali); and extended family Joseph, Dylan, Anthony, Lacey, Kassie, Evan, Emmi, Peyton and Hunter.

A Celebration of Life will be held on July 24, 2026 from 2-4pm at Blount and Curry Life Event Center, 605 S MacDill Avenue, Tampa Florida 33609. Family and friends are invited to attend to celebrate his life and share their memories.

Though he is no longer with us, his love, wisdom, and the memories he created will remain in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
