Wanda Braiman, 63, of Crystal River, FL, passed away on Tues., Feb. 4, 2025 at Tampa General Hospital Crystal River. A native of Lewiston, ME, she was born Jan. 18, 1962 to John and Ruth (Chabot) Mc Geachan. A former resident of Lutz, FL, Wanda made her home mainly in Crystal River, along with her loving partner of 22 years, Christopher G. Nelson, M.D., who survives her. Wanda served as Office Manager for the Pinellas County Arts Council, where her commitment to supporting creative expression enriched her community and touched many lives. Embracing their spirit of adventure, Wanda and Chris traveled extensively in their RV throughout her native Northeast, the Midwest, where Chris was from originally, and even northern Wisconsin, where they enjoyed visiting Summit Lake. Wanda’s favorite color was purple and she loved sushi. A Celebration of Life will take place at Blount & Curry Life Event Center, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa, FL 33609 on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 6:00 P.M.
