Wynand "Henk" Heindricus Kruining Jr.

Wynand was born May 12, 1965, at Patrick AFB, Cocoa Beach, Florida. He is survived by his Wife, My Phuong Kruining, his three Children Delana, Katie and Roland, his three siblings, Catherine Kruining Gunter, Christopher Kruining, and Suzanne Gerstner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wynand H. Kruining and Catherine Anne Blaker, and his Grandparents Clyde Blaker and Esther Beard of Upper Darby, PA and Heindricus Kruining and Petronella Wentler of Breda, The Netherlands.

Henk was very close with his Father and Mother-in-Law Tuoi Than Luu and Giac T. Nguyen of Tampa and his three brothers and sisters-in-law, Thanh Thanh (Anna) Luu, Thanh Phong Luu of Tampa, and My Duyen T. Luu of Garland, TX. He had over 10 adopted mothers within the Vietnamese community.

He is also survived by his Aunt and Uncles, Louis and Barbara Pettolicio of Wilmington Delaware, Anton and Marianne Kruining, The Netherlands, and Nellie Van de Leur, The Netherlands. Preceded in death by Uncle Pete Van de Leur, The Netherlands and Uncle and Aunt Sedrick and Doris Stephens of Philadelphia.

He had many Cousins, Louis Pettolicio of West Virginia, who preceded him a death only a week before, Laurie Murray of Delaware, Kenneth Petoliccio of Pennsylvania, Henk Van de Leur, Reno Van de Leur, Els Van de Leur, Lianne Janmatt, and Patricia Schippers of the Netherlands.

Henk had many nephews and nieces. Catherine Hansen, Edward Wynand Gerstner of Micanopy, FL Stephanie Gunter of New Port Richey , Theodore H. Gunter III, Jennifer Gunter, Christopher Gunter, Kaden Pham, Neisha Pham, Martin Tat, Vivian Tat, all of Tampa. Benjamin Gerstner of Mooresville, NC.

Henk was an Electrical Technician by trade. He was a skilled artist at miniatures. and dioramas, and was a member of the Model Builders Society. One of his past times was mountain biking. He enjoyed fixing things and helping others. He valued time spent with his family and caring for his children. He lived simply, loved deeply, and believed in Jesus Christ and the Kingdom of Heaven. He will be deeply missed by all that he loved and loved him.

A visitation for Wynand will be held Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home, 7209 North Dale Mabry Highway, Tampa, FL 33614, with a funeral service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
