Andrew was born January 1, 1952, to Mike and Rita Lopez in Thorndale, Tx. He is proceeded in death by his parents Mike and Rita Lopez, brother Phillip Lopez, sister Cruz Rivera, grandson Angel Ray Sandoval, sister-in-law Anita Lopez and brother-in-law Ronnie Richardson.
His memory and legacy continue to live through his children Nathan (Toni) Lopez, Andrew (Pam) Lopez, Mark (Mary) Lopez, Jessica (Raymond) Sandoval, and David Lopez. Grandchildren Ashley (Matt), Andrew (AB), Jordan, Mark Jr, Seth (Victoria), Brandon (Taylor) Mike, Raelyn, Baely, Rayden, Alizea and Arianna. 9 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson on the way. Andrew is also survived by his companion Margaret Sanchez, siblings Brigg (Tina) Lopez, Steve Lopez and Isabel Richardson along with many nieces, nephews and friends made along the way.
Andrew was employed at Sandoval Body and Paint from 1985- 2007. After which he owned and operated his own lawn business until 2016. He then returned to Sandoval's until his retirement in early 2026.
When he wasn't working, you could find him every Friday night at SPJST lodge and Sunday at the Cotton Club dancing the night away with his best friend, Margaret. Andrew enjoyed spending time with his family playing cards, eating sweets, and faithfully watching his Texas Longhorns and Dallas Cowboys. We will definitely miss our annual Christmas Eve Yahtzee game where he tried so hard to win every year just to end up mad at the end.
Andrew will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live in the hearts of his loved ones. He was a wonderful man, great father, grandfather and beloved friend. His charm and smile will never be forgotten.
