Beverly Sergent

She married Russell D. Sergent in 1950 who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children; Jane Stauffer (Erwin), Peggy Goodman (Danny), John Sergent (Alyssa), Jim Thornton (Adele). She is also survived by her sisters; Julie Pooley, and Sue Dennis Long.

Beverly had 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great - great grandchild.

Beverly has been retired for many years from her career as a Licensed Nurse. After retirement she volunteered in the Vista Program, she assisted parents of children with cleft lip and palate as well. More recently she volunteered for St. Vincent De Paul of Taylor as well as for SPJST Assisted Living in Taylor.

Most of all Beverly was a loving and devoted wife, mother, family member, and friend. She will be terribly missed.

Her final home was at SPJST Skilled Nursing Facility in Taylor. The staff there was like family to her as well as to her family. SPJST is loved by the community of Taylor - Thanks for the care given.

Concho Hearts Hospice provided end of life care and support to Beverly and her family - her nurses were truly amazing!

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Taylor Meals on Wheels, (Please specify Taylor Meals on Wheels).

A service for family will be held at St. Mary's Cemetery (Taylor) at a later date.
