Brenda was born September 12, 1967 in Port Clinton, Ohio to Raymond and Teresa Flores. At 3 months of age, they returned back home to Taylor, TX. Brenda graduated from Taylor High School in 1986. She married the love of her life, Arnulfo Garza, on March 28, 1988. They were blessed with 6 Children; Arnulfo Jr, Adamaris, Aurelio, Rosie, Raymond and Ruben.
Brenda began working right out of high school at Safeway Grocery, then worked several years at Intercraft. In the early 2000's, she operated her in-home daycare where she cared for many children of family and friends. She then chose to continue what her heart desired and that was to cook for others so she opened Brenda's Tacos in Thrall, TX. Everyone quickly fell in love with her authentic food and even more the service she provided while she got to enjoy what she loved: cooking for others. No family event was ever short of food because Brenda showed up with a feast each time.
To have known Brenda was a blessing. Her smile was contagious and the love she gave was enough to reach the moon. "Though her laughter has fallen silent, the melody of her kindness will play in our lives for all time." Brenda touched the lives of many and what she sewed into many will carry on for many generations to come. Though the world feels dimmer without her, her light will always live in the stories, laughter, and love she left behind.
