Cynthia was born to Carl Beran, Jr. and Marie in Leesville, Louisiana, on October 19, 1964. Carl later married Carolyn, who became Cynthia's mom. Cynthia grew up on the family farm in Thrall, Texas, where she developed a lifelong love of animals and gardening. She carried that love throughout her life, adopting many animals and cultivating beautiful gardens wherever she lived.
She graduated from Thrall High School in 1983. Shortly after graduation, she married Steve Estrada Sr., and together they had three children: Steve Jr., Stephanie, and Eric. Cynthia worked in the medical field as a certified nursing assistant before later opening her own landscaping business in Amarillo. She eventually returned to Thrall to be closer to her family. It was there that she met Bobby Harrison. They married in 2016 and lived and worked together on a farm in Bastrop, Texas.
In 2017, Cynthia experienced tremendous loss when she lost her mom, her husband, and was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. She moved back to the family farm, where she fought cancer into remission and later lovingly cared for her daddy during his brief illness. Unfortunately, in the fall of 2025, her cancer returned. True to her nature, she faced the battle once again with courage and determination. She spent her final months working, cherishing time with her family, and enjoying the companionship of her faithful dogs of eleven years, Tazz and Pooh. While her family will miss her dearly, they find comfort in knowing that her battle is over and that she now rests peacefully in the loving arms of Jesus.
Cynthia is survived by her children, Steve Estrada Jr., Stephanie Estrada, and Eric Estrada and his wife, Vera; her grandchildren, AJ, Isaac, Aunte, Mason, Shyann, Max, and Jake; her sisters, Kathy Beran, Cindy MaCuk, and Carla Clegg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Jr. and Carolyn Beran, and her husband, Bobby Harrison.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to Corey Strimiska and the entire staff of Concho Hearts Hospice for their compassionate care during Cynthia's final weeks. They also wish to extend their sincere appreciation to Pastor George Qualley for his faithful love, support, and spiritual care throughout her illness.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Cynthia's memory or to the charity of your choice.
