

At an early age he worked in the fields with his dad. He then proceeded to work running cotton jins then transitioned to a truck driver for many years and then cement cement trucks. After an injury he transitioned into building maintenance. First with NCNB on 6th and Congress in Austin TX; then with T Stacy & Associates and finally with Cielo Properties before he retired. After retirement you could find him at his daughters house at 3pm watching Jerry Springer, then Judge Judy, and sometimes 90 day fiance.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters Mary and Antonio Olguin; brothers Adam, Lupe and Steve Olguin; and Great Grandson Arden Myles Taisler.
He is survived by his daughter Mary and husband Joseph Haas; son Jerry Olguin. His grandchildren Brittn and wife Allison Taisler; Mathew and wife Lauryn Taisler; Marcy Rodriguez and fiance Matthew Adams; Nathan Haas and partner Breanna Sanchez; Isabella Trevino; Sa’mya Olguin.
Great Grandchildren Kayla, Paige (our girls), Archer (little Archie) and Aven (his little queenie) Taisler
His brothers Marcos Jr and wife Josie Olguin, Patrick and wife Janie Olguin, Richard Olguin, Isaac Olguin. Sisters Basilia Palomo and partner John; Berta Reyes, Mary Ann Trevino and Epifania Strait.
Visitation will be at Providence Funeral Home June 16th from 5pm to 7pm.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will follow at 7pm to 8pm.
Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Taylor June 17th at 10am. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery.
