Joseph was born on October 10, 1963 in Taylor to Johnnie and Ella Zbranek. He grew up with an older sister and an older brother. He married Cary Ann Elliott on April 20, 1996 in Bartlett. Joseph and Cary raised two daughters, Amber and Shelby. Joseph worked as a farmer, machinist, and on the road and bridge crew for Bell County. In Joseph’s free time, he loved to work on vehicles, race his 1967 Camaro, dove hunt with his friends and cousins, and visit with his friends and family.
Joseph is preceded in death by his parents. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Cary; children, Amber Elliott and Shelby (Garrett) Wehmeyer; three grandchildren, Alexavier Martinez, Alyssia Martinez, and Ashlyn Martinez; brother, Randy (Rita) Zbranek; sister, Diana Wolf; nieces, April Wolf and Ashley Zbranek; and nephew, Derek (Keely) Wolf.
