

Julia was born in Taylor, TX to Henry and Mary(Marie) Schoenrock. Julia married Shorty Niemtschk in January of 1958.She grew up on the family farm in Coupland, TX and went to Pflugerville High School. After marrying Shorty, they moved to New Mexico where she went to business school to study the new field of computer data entry. Later the family moved to Michigan where they lived for 30 years until retirement in 1998 when they returned to Texas.Julia is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Shorty, her son Michael, her parents, and brother Charles.She is survived by daughter, Juanita Pelletier and husband Alan of Haltom City; daughter Anna Niemtschk of Austin; and brother, Thomas Shoenrock. She has 6 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who cherish her memory.Visitation will be March 26, 2026 from 5-8 pm at Providence Funeral Home in Taylor, TX. The Funeral Service will be March 27, 2026 at 10:30 am at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Thorndale, TX followed by burial in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, a memorial can be made in her name, Julia Niemtschk, to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Building Fund or Meals on Wheels.
