

Mrs. Reza was born on October 1, 1929 in Temple to Trinidad Palomino and Concepcion Estrada Palomino.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Carme Tindal, and Mary Hoti and husband Gino; brothers, Mike Palomino and Johnny Palomino; sister, Dolores Palomino Terrazas; five grandchildren, Desiree Reza and Bo Mitchell, Bryan Tindal, Tyler Hutton, Josh Tindal and wife Tara and Donatella Hoti-Carlisle and husband Dylan; great grandchildren, Brooklynn Mae, Sophia Grace and Paislee Rae Reza. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Trinidad C. Palomino and Concepcion Estrada Palomino; siblings, Julio, Enrique, Louis, Everardo, Joe and Trinidad Palomino, Aurora Nieto, Concepcion Castillo and Maria Palomino.
Alice had several different jobs during her life including Curtis Shoe Factory, J M Dyer and Albertsons, Inc. She helped organize the first Scott and White Santa Fe Blood Bank in Temple and continued to work in the Scott and White Blood Bank for many years.
She loved her church and was very proud of her work. She participated in plays for the church as these plays were prepared by her father. She was very proud of her father, Trinidad, who was a founding member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Alice was a member of the church all of her life and was a participant of Guadalupanas, Ballet Folklorico and the church theatre.
Our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister and friend will be missed dearly. She loved everyone dearly. She will never be forgotten and will remain in our hearts forever until we meet again.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 707 S. 6th St., Temple, Texas 76504. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00pm Monday, July 31, 2023 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm.
