Alma Fletcher Smith, age 86 of Temple, died Sunday, February 24, 2013. Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m. Wednesday at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial will be private. I was born in Mosheim, Texas December 19, 1926 to Earl and Ann Fletcher. My brother's name was E. T. and my sister's name was Vela. I died of a blood clot and Alzheimers on February 24, 2013. My husband was Lewis Smith. My children were Bobbye Jean and Eddie. Bobbye Jean married Jack Ray and I have been living with them. Eddie passed away. He had a son, Brian. Brian has a wife Jenn and son Declan, and two daughters, Paige and Grace. I worked at the First National Bank of Temple and at Dr. Long's Clinic in Belton. I enjoyed good health and a wonderful family and friends until Dec. 8, 2012. My alzheimers and a blood clot ended my life. If you knew me remember me in your own way.
