OBITUARY Arthur Vernon Wiley Mr. Arthur Vernon Wiley, 74 of Troy died Wednesday October 25, 2006 at his residence. Graveside services with military honors will be held Saturday October 28, 2006 at 11:00AM at the Pendleton Cemetery with Dr. Tom Henderson officiating. Mr. Wiley was born July 5, 2006 in Pendleton, Texas the son of Willie Clyde and Anna Morgan Wiley. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of Korea earning a Purple Heart. Mr. Wiley was a retired Union Carpenter. He was a member of the Heights Baptist Church in Temple. Mr. Wiley is survived by two sons Bryan Wiley of Imperial California and Steve Wiley of Key West, Florida and by one daughter Kathy Maier of Henderson, Nevada as well as 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Margurite Wiley in 1999 and by one son Jimmy Wiley as well as 12 brothers and sisters. A family visitation will be held from 6 until 8 PM Friday October 27, 2006 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Sammons Park Senior Center in Temple. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home of Temple is in charge of arrangements.
