A visitation will take place on Sunday, February 20, 2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, Texas 76504.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 21, 2022 at 10:00am at the funeral home.
Betty is survived by her husband of 47 years David. L. Pitts of Troy, Texas, a son Joe Woods of The Grove, Texas, a daughter Wendy Preece of Troy, Texas, 2 step daughter, Michelle Chandler of Troy, Texas and Wendy Barker of Normangee, Texas, 11 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Betty spent many years as a hairdresser, a small business owner, a rural mail carrier, and retired as a school bus driver for Troy ISD.
Betty was well loved by all who knew her, bur her greatest blessings were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
