Bill was a graduate of Temple High School and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in finance and economics from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Bill dedicated 35 years of service to Baylor Scott and White Health, where he served as Vice President of Strategic Financial Services before retiring in 2024.
Bill married the former Bethany Wickman on December 31, 2014, in Austin, Texas. He was known for his tireless energy—always working in the yard, staying active, and never one to sit still for long.
He was preceded in death by his father, Neil Collier.
Bill is survived by his mother, Betty Collier of Temple; his sister, Patti Collier of Temple; his daughters, Emry Greer and husband Jared of Garland, Texas, and Josie Collier of Temple; stepson, Caden Dengel, and stepdaughter, Kyra Dengel, both of San Marcos, Texas; his beloved wife, Bethany Collier of Temple; his niece, Jenna Gifford and husband Jacob of Temple, and their children, Hunter, Easton, Canaan, Emberleigh, and Cope; his nephew, Dillan Aumuller of Denver, Colorado; and one cherished grandchild, June Greer of Garland, Texas.
A private service will be held at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
