Carol Melada Mayfield

Memorial services for Carol Melada Mayfield, 69, of Temple will be held at 10:30 A.M. Monday at Ocker Brethren Church with Rev. Ron Winsman officiating. Mrs. Mayfield died Thursday in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Mayfield was born in Dallas to Loyd John Langley and Melada Janosky Langley. She moved to Temple nine years ago from San Angelo. She married J.L. Mayfield in 1998. She had worked as a teller and a receptionist at a Bank in San Angelo and had worked at Dillards in San Angelo and Temple. She also worked for Martin Audiology in Temple. She was a member of Ocker Brethren Church. Survivors include her husband J.L. Mayfield of Temple one daughter Colleen McCleery and her husband Steve of Odessa; one son Craig Bobo and his wife Monica of Wichita Falls; one sister Margaret Wilkinson of Richardson; two step daughters Sandra Cox and Cherry Mayfield both of San Angelo; one stepson Steve Mayfield of San Angelo; one granddaughter Abby Bobo; one nephew Robert Wilkinson and six step grandchildren. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society. Scanio Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
