She was born on June 15, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas the daughter of Tom Post and Patti Ruth (Stewart) Thomson.
Carolyn is survived by her son Aaron Carpenter, a granddaughter Chloe' Kai Carpenter, a brother Tom Thomson, and her nieces Shelley Thomson and Valerie Mullinax. She is also survived by many special family members and friends, and her special puppy Gilbert Grape.
