Funeral services for Charles L. Collier, 76, of Rogers will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will be in Rogers Cemetery. Mr. Collier died Friday at a Temple hospital. Mr. Collier was born at Stringtown to E.C. (Bud) Collier and Cecil Gordon Collier. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He married Vera Abshire May 2, 1959. He moved to Rogers in 1963. He was a Nursing Assistant for many years at the V.A. Hospital in Temple. He was a member of Heidenheimer Church of Christ and American Legion Post 133. Survivors include his wife Vera Collier of Rogers; one son Randy Collier of Rogers and one sister Elena Jean Fritz of The Woodlands. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rogers. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
