Funeral services for Charles R. Roming, 60, of Eddy will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Dr. Tom Henderson and Rev. Billy Koinm officiating. Burial will be in Eddy Cemetery. Mr. Roming died at his residence Tuesday. Mr. Roming was born in Temple September 6, 1950 to August Roming and Dorothy Shook Roming. He attended Temple High School and Temple College. He served in the Marines during Vietnam. He was a member of Heights Baptist Church and the VFW in Hewitt. He married Alice Thurman May 16, 1995. He was a truck driver. Survivors include his wife Alice Roming of Eddy; one son Harley Roming of Bryan; his parents August and Dorothy Roming of Troy; stepchildren Peggy Cast of Illinois, David Thurman of Valley View, Everett Wall of Temple and Lloyd Wall Jr. of Gainesville; and one grandchild Haley Roming of Troy. Memorials may be made to the VFW in Hewitt. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
