Connie Beth Dunn

She was born on September 4, 1955, in Plainview, Texas, to Charles Benjamin and Bessie Maurine (Taylor) Collis. Connie was a 1973 graduate of Burges High School in El Paso, Texas, and was a faithful and devoted member of St. Luke Catholic Church in Temple. Her faith in the catholic church was renewed when the church helped her process and grieve the loss of her son.

Connie was united in marriage to Victor Dunn, and together they built a life centered on family, love, and devotion. She was a caring wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished time spent with her loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Nickolas Dunn; and her brother, Rick Collis.

Connie is survived by her loving husband, Victor Dunn of Temple, Texas; her sons, Jeremiah Dunn of Austin, Texas, and Ryan Dunn of Temple, Texas; her brothers, Randy Collis of Grapevine, Texas, and Ronnie Collis and wife Kathy of North Carolina; her sister-in-law, Cynthia Collis of Austin; and her cherished granddaughter, Morgan Justine Dunn of Portland, Oregon.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m., at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church, 2807 Oakdale Drive in Temple. Burial will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.

Arrangements are entrusted to Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.

Connie will be remembered for her steadfast faith, her love of family, and the kindness she shared with all who knew her.
