David Carroll Weber, 66, of Rogers died Monday in a Temple hospital. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 1, 2008 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. Monday at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday November 30, 2008 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mr. Weber was born November 23, 1942 in Cameron, Texas to Jesse James and Mattie Williams Weber. He was a graduate of Sharp High School and attended Central Texas College in Killeen. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving on the Bon Homme Richard as a gunner mate 3rd class. He had worked as a fireman at Ft. Hood and was a self-employed plumber. He was preceded in death by two brothers Bobby and Larry Weber. Survivors include three daughters, Tracy Ostlund of Austin, Tiffany Giffen of Bryan, and Tammy Wendler of Vernon; two sisters, Doreen Krenek of Temple and Glenda Ruzicka of Temple; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
