David Wills

David Alan Wills, age 38, of Temple passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at home with his family by his side after a long battle with cancer. He married his high school sweetheart on December 11, 1999 and just celebrated 18 years of marriage in 2017. He was born in Bryan College Station, TX on August 22, 1979 to Sharon Ochs Wills and Robert Wills. David was a Temple High School graduate and was an employee of McLane Company for 19 years. He was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ where he enjoyed working with the youth group. His hobbies involved spending time with family, hunting, fishing, and poker. David will be remembered for his kindness and generosity by all who knew him and he will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Sharissa Stern Wills and his two sons, Aidan Wills and Jameson Wills, his parents Sharon Ochs Wills and Robert Wills, a brother, Bryan Wills, aunts, Deborah Hansen, Mary Ann Wall, Susan Lockhart, Penny Baker, Jill Pickett, his uncle Phil Wills and cousins, Brent Hansen and Keri Delano. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles Ochs, grandmother, Yvonne Ochs, grandmother Jean Wills, grandfather, FE Wills and uncle, Jon Hansen. Funeral service will be held at Western Hills Church of Christ on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:00 AM with burial to follow at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. A visitation will take place on Sunday, December 17, 2017 from 3pm-5pm at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd. Temple, TX 76504. In lieu of flowers, a benefit account has been set up for David’s children Aidan and Jameson at Extraco Bank on 31st Street, Temple, Texas, contributions can be made there to Attn: Trust Department.
