DONALD C. TOW Funeral services for Donald Clayton Tow, 84, of Temple will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday December 13, 2005 at First Baptist Church with Rev. Martin Knox officiating. Burial will be at Bellwood Memorial Park. Mr. Tow died Saturday December 10, 2005 at his residence. He was born in Eastland July 9, 1921 to Joe and Margaret Tow. Mr. Tow completed fours of pre-med at the University of Texas Galveston and was a registered x ray technician. He married Joan Elaine Altom on October 27, 1943 in San Diego, California. He served as a Naval Pharmacist Mate attached to the Marine Air Corp in the Pacific during W.W. II. He has lived in Temple for fifty four years and was a member of First Baptist Church. He retired in 1983 as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Lederle Laboratories, a division of American Cynamid, after thirty seven years of "gold cup" awarding winning performance. Survivors include his wife (Joan (Shortie) Tow of Temple, two daughters Donna Howard of Shreveport, Louisiana and Jana Aikman of Fort Worth: one brother Doyle Tow of Conroe: four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. To 7:00 P.M. Monday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
