Dorothy F. Aldrich, age 94, of Temple passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017 at a local care center. She was born on October 7, 1922 in Temple the daughter of Clifford and Sue Harris. Visitation will take place on Saturday, August 26, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home 3110 Airport Rd Temple, TX 76504 followed by burial at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple. Dorothy was a former Temple Wildcat, retired after many years of service as a clerk for the Santa Fe Railroad, and was a member of Grace Presbyterian Church in Temple. She is survived by her daughters Susan Bellinghausen and husband Lynn of Houston and Betty Clark of Georgetown, 3 grandchildren Kelly Beckworth and husband Billy of Aledo, Katie Rutherford and husband Robert of Houston, and Ryan Bellinghausen of Houston, and 2 great-grandchildren Emory and Hayes. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Levi Aldrich. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Temple Railroad and Heritage Museum 315 West Ave. B Temple, Texas 76504 would be appreciated.
