Dorothy Ann Steele, age 75 of Alamo and Gonzales, died Thursday, June 19, 2014 in a local hospital. Services and burial will be held at a later date. Mrs. Steele was born September 3, 1938 in Julesburg, Colorado to John and Hilda Stahr Rahe. Survivors include her husband, Jim W. Steele, two sons, James Knerr and wife, Lisa of Gonzales, Will Steele and wife, Christy of McAllen, three daughters, Julie Stuart and husband, Tom of Richmond, Lynda DePippo and husband, Tom and Tracy Link and husband, Ken all of New Braunfels, 11 grandchildren, four brothers and two sisters. Memorial donations may be made to Scott & White Foundation.
