
Dorothy M. "Dottie" Reynolds, age 78, of Temple died Sunday, October 8, 2006 in a local nursing home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 14, at St. Francis Episcopal Church with The Rev. Merry Wilburn officiating. Burial will be at St. Francis Columbarium. Mrs. Reynolds was born February 11, 1928 in Westfield, Mass. to Edward and Pauline Prest. She married Don C. Reynolds on December 3, 1950 in Westfield. She traveled with her husband in the U. S. Air Force to England from 1952 to 1955; Newfoundland from 1959 to 1961; and Germany from 1965 to 1968. She also volunteered over 5,000 hours as a Gray Lady with the American Red Cross. Mrs. Reynolds was also President of Temple Family Services more than 10 years which merged with other agencies. She also volunteered 1000 hours as a member of Scott & White's Yellowbirds. She was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church. Survivors include her husband, one son, Don C. Reynolds II and wife, Debbie of Fort Worth, brother, Valmore E. Prest of Westfield, Mass. and sister, Celia Pilbrow of West Seneca, New York. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Don C. Reynolds III of Rhodes College, Memphis, Tenn. and Catherine Ann Reynolds of Fort Worth. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that all donations be made to Alzheimer's Association or the General or Columbarium Funds at St. Francis Episcopal Church in Temple.
