Dr. Mark Louis Spencer, age 49 of Temple, died Monday, August 4, 2014 at his residence. A memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 8, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rabbi Larry Cohen officiating. Dr. Spencer was born January 22, 1965 in Verdun, France to Louis and Joan Spencer. Mark was a pharmacist, physician's assistant and emergency medicine doctor. He attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma and remained an avid OU fan and had season tickets to their football games. Mark married LaVita Jones on December 30, 1993 and had two children, Heath Spencer and Haley Spencer. He is also survived by his parents, sister, Tracy Spencer and two stepchildren, Josh and Amanda Murray.
