Earl McGoldrick

Funeral services for Earl McGoldrick, 68, of Belton will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery at Travis. Mr. McGoldrick died Monday at his residence. Mr. McGoldrick was born in Cameron February 27, 1945. He graduated from Cameron High School and attended Temple College. He married Brenda White June 25, 1965 and moved to Temple in January, 1966. He was Executive Vice President for Computer Information Systems for McLane Company. He also owned Valvoline Instant Oil Changes. He attended Temple Bible Church and was a member of Wildflower Country Club. Mr. McGoldrick was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers J.D. McGoldrick and Gene McGoldrick. Survivors include his wife Brenda McGoldrick of Belton; one son Grady McGoldrick and his wife Jenifer of Temple; one daughter Tracy Droege and her husband Dave of Temple;five grandchildren Erin, Sarah Kate and Megan McGoldrick and Luke and Lydia Droege; two brothers Prentis McGoldrick and his wife Minnie of Cameron and Leon McGoldrick and his wife Ernestine of Waco; two sisters Elois Alford of Rockdale and Bernice Scarborough of Cameron and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
