Edwin Louis Sebesta

Services for Edwin Louis Sebesta, 85, of Red Ranger will be Monday at 10:00 A.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mr. Sebesta passed away peacefully on Tuesday night, April 18th.  Mr. Sebesta was born February 27, 1932 and lived his life in and around the Red Ranger Community.  He married Dorothy Chudej on August 5th, 1953.  He served in the U.S. Army for two years.  He worked at Chupik Woods and Artco Bell in Temple and as a carpenter for BFW.Mr. Sebesta was preceded in death by three brothers John and Walter Sebesta and Raymond Gerich and two sisters Lillian Ondrasek and Mary Sulak.  He is survived by his wife Dorothy Sebesta; son Richard Sebesta and his wife Fleshia and daughter Shirley Marek and her husband Kenneth; two nephews Raymond Coots and Billy Smetanka and one niece Tresa Coots; two grandchildren Jennifer Chervenka and her husband John Paul and Jeffrey Ashcraft and his wife Mari and eight great grandchildren Jessica, Jacelyn, Joanna, Jaidyn, Jacob and Annabelle Chervenka and Bryson and Corbin Ashcraft. Visitation with family will be at 9:00 A.M., one hour prior to the service.
