Elizabeth Ramsey, 83, of Bartlett, Texas died Thursday, November 15, 2007 in a Temple nursing home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 19, 2007 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Dr. Rodney Kruse officiating. Burial will follow at Bartlett City Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Miss Ramsey was born November 19, 1923 in Bartlett, Texas to Preston and Josephine Hunt Ramsey. She was a graduate of Bartlett High School and had worked all her life on the family farm in Bartlett. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Bartlett. Survivors include one sister, Katherine Ramsey of Temple and dear friend, Linda Weber of Bartlett. Pallbearers will be Ted Hejl, Eddie Cashion, Joseph Weber, John Weber, James Weber, and Chris Stefek. Memorials may be made to Scott & White Hospice, 2401 S. 31st Street, Temple, Texas 76508.
