Mr. McKenzie was born in Rogers to Ernest McKenzie and Arzena Parker McKenzie. He married Jane (Dolly) Seaton August 17, 1957. He attended school in Rogers and also attended Temple Junior College and Central Texas College. He served in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. He worked for the Temple Fire Department and the Temple Police Department before being elected Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 Pl. 1, where he served for eighteen years. He was a member of Heights Baptist Church and American Legion Post 133. Survivors include his wife Jane (Dolly) McKenzie of Temple; his daughter Teresa McInis and her husband Ronnie of Temple; three brothers Glen McKenzie of Temple, Charles McKenzie of Moffat, Vernon McKenzie of Temple and two grandchildren Mallory McInis and Jacob McInis.
