Memorial graveside services for Eugene Leslie Moore, 83, of Buchanan Dam will be held Friday at 10:00 A.M. at Lakeland Hills Memorial Park near Burnet with Air Force Honors. Mr. Moore died Saturday June 20, 2009 at a Temple Hospital. Mr. Moore was born in Lovell, Maine. He married Eron Price in 1950. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 31 years. He moved to Buchanan Dam from Austin in 1965. He operated The Fleets Inn Oyster Bar at Buchanan Dam for many years before retiring. He was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by two sons Jim Moore and Bob Moore. Survivors include his wife Eron Moore of Buchanan Dam; two daughters Elizabeth LaFont of Volente and Susie Jacques of Moffat; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Scanio Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
