Eva Lee Money

Funeral services for Eva Lee Money, 94, of Little River will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Western Hills Church of Christ with Scott Meyer officiating. Burial will be in Little River Wilson Valley Cemetery. Mrs. Money died Wednesday in a Temple Living Center. Mrs. Money was born in Wilson Valley Feb. 4, 1920 to Lee Baird and Eva McFarland Baird. She graduated from Academy High School. She married Bill Money August 9, 1940. He preceded her in death Sept. 21, 1998. She was co-owner of Bill Money Grocery in Little River and billed and collected water bills for Bell County WCID #2. She was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ where she taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She volunteered at Weston Inn in Temple and served on many charity drives such as March of Dimes and Cancer Research. She was well known for her cooking especially candy making. Survivors include her son Billy Steven Money of Keller and her daughter Brenda Buckley of Little River; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and two step great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Love Of Christ Center %Western Hills Church of Christ or to Little River Wilson Valley Cemetery Association. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
