Mrs. Winkler died Tuesday in a Temple Hospital.
Mrs. Winkler was born October 8, 1937 in The Grove to Ben Hanusch and Tillie Melcher Hanusch. She graduated from Temple High School. She married Marvin Winkler April 29, 1956. She worked for V & M Drug and then became the owner and secretary for Temple Grinding and for Temple Towing. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and has lived in the Temple area all of her life.
Survivors include her husband Marvin Winkler of Temple; three sons Bruce Winkler and his wife Stephanie of Moffat, Brian Winkler and his wife Susie of Temple and J.R. Winkler and his wife Lisa of Temple; one daughter Patricia Winkler Trexler of Morgan’s Point; one sister Bernice Deaver of Little River-Academy; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Mrs. Winkler will be available for viewing on Monday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
